This Is Our Home
Pacific Artists for Climate Justice is a Pacific-led collective of musicians, storytellers, visual artists, and cultural practitioners who use indigenous arts and storytelling to amplify voices from the frontlines of the climate crisis.
Recognizing that much climate messaging appeals to the mind while overlooking the human faces behind the data, This Is Our Home seeks to reach both hearts and minds—challenging narratives, evoking reactions, and inspiring action.
Rooted in Pacific cultures, grounded in faith, and inspired by a long history of regional activism, the collective has been sent from the Pacific as “missionaries to the gentiles” with communication aimed at the popular culture through music, arts, and storytelling to engage those who are disengaged or disinterested in climate change.
We are more than rising sea levels, sinking islands and stories of resilience—we are warriors fighting the good fight for justice, dignity, and the protection of our communities, cultures, and our common home."

Programme
This programme reflects the diversity of participants and has been designed to enable all to fully take part. Each delegate has a key role to play, like the bees who work together to produce honey, each of us has a transformative role to play.
Why now?
Laudato Si’ enyclical recognizes that we’re “striving in countless ways to guarantee the protection of the home which we share.” Our efforts have borne fruit, but we’re just getting started.
Environmental disasters like floods, storms, heat waves, and droughts are causing more suffering. We’re committed to doing more now, especially during this extraordinary year, which marks the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ and the Paris agreement on climate change as well as the Catholic Jubilee year.
This is our moment to raise hope together. Over three incredible days, we will unite as a global family of good will to reflect on the impact of Laudato Si’ and chart a path to the future.
