Contributions

As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of both Encyclical Laudato Si’ and the Paris Agreement, and in response to the prophetic call of Pope Leo XIV to hear the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor, we launch the People’s Determined Contributions (PDC), a bold, global civil society initiative to present the commitments of people, communities, faith actors and grassroots movements toward climate justice and ecological transformation.

Since the States' commitments with the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) fall well short of what science and justice demand, the PDCs represent the moral determination and practical action of people of goodwill around the world.
